The Most Absurd Things We've Heard About the Candidates This Election

Design by Jena Salvatore Don’t worry folks. In about a week and a half this will all be over…maybe.

Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump have certainly enjoyed going back and forth with insults this election season. With so many misstated arguments during the three debates, it’s fair to argue that the public may be a little misinformed. We went around and asked people what was the most absurd thing they heard about the candidates. While none of the claims really have any grounds, they are definitely entertaining to say the least.

Let’s start with Hilary Clinton:

“Hillary Clinton created Isis.”

“Hillary Clinton is the leader of Isis.”

“Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband.”

“Hillary Clinton has Parkinson’s, and she’s not gonna make it.”

“A company that produces war planes bought Clinton off, and if she is elected president she is going to go to war so the company can make more money."

“Hillary Clinton has a stunt double.”

“Hillary Clinton is the devil.”

Well guys, if Hillary is elected president apparently Isis will thrive, we will go to war, and the leader of the free world may die from Parkinson’s. This is all super unfortunate.

But hey, let’s transition to Trump now:

“Donald Trump picked a fight with a baby.”

“Donald Trump has a comb over…definitely a myth.”

“Donald Trump called a Kardashian Miss. Piggy.”

“Donald Trump can cure cancer.”

“Donald Trump’s best friend is Vladimir Putin.”

“Donald Trump’s wife endorsed Hilary Clinton.”

If Donald Trump is president babies will be fought (and puppies), Putin and Trump will probably be sippin' beers together, and the Kardashians will be offended (oh no). On the bright side, apparently cancer will be cured, so that a plus.

November 8th is right around the corner so get to the polls, for the love of God please get to the polls. It’s not like this position is important, or has any bearing on the next four years, or the course of the country and economy. And don’t worry about immigration, terrorism, climate change, trade, or anything else of importance. Just focus on the important things, like what other people are saying about the candidates.
