Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker Are Engaged

Cue the punk rock rendition of “Here Comes the Bride.” Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are engaged. WE REPEAT, THEY ARE ENGAGED!

After nine months of dating, the reality TV star said yes to the former drummer of Blink-182 and current drummer for Machine Gun Kelly on Oct. 17 in the only way this powerhouse duo could — on a beach among hundreds of roses at a hotel in Montecillo, California.

The large romantic gesture is no surprise to Keeping Up With the Kardashian fans who have been following the couple’s history. Kardashian and Barker have been friends for years (15 to be exact) and finally decided to make the jump a few months ago. Talk about waiting for love. He has appeared on many episodes of KUWTK, which makes us wonder if they’ve always had the hots for each other. Nevertheless, they certainly do now, and let’s just say, they aren’t shy about PDA. Pictures of them kissing, him holding her, and pretty much anything intimate you can think of (without the pics getting too PG-13) are all over the internet. Now, some may think that the PDA pics might be a bit too much, but there's something about these two that we can’t get enough of. Maybe they are cute, or maybe we are all secretly begging for a relationship as hopelessly romantic as this one.

Nothing can be perfect, though. In classic Kardashian-fashion, there is a bit of drama. Kardashian’s baby daddy, Scott Disick, is not over her (we don’t blame him, she's hot), and sources have said how distraught he is over their engagement, according to an article on Cosmopolitan.com. An insider told E! News that he’s “beside himself” despite knowing the engagement would happen. Disick and Kardashian have three kids together but never married because of many of his personal issues, such as drug and alcohol addiction. KUWTK fans often have talked about how the pair are soulmates, so the public's reaction to the engagement is definitely mixed. Barker is definitely not getting away “Scott”-free.

But wait, there’s more. Barker, who was previously married twice and has two teenage kids, has a very long dating history, making people wonder if Kravis will last. Especially with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, throwing shade on Twitter about the two of them. The former Miss USA pageant contestant and current model has posted tweets expressing her disapproval of Kravis for a while now, including comments saying that Kardashian has broken her family and alienated her children from her. Can you say D-R-A-M-A?
