Isn’t That A Commandment?
Nothing goes together better than homophobia and hypocrisy. In a sweetly ironic twist of events, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who somehow was elected to Congress and despite believing that being gay is a sin, committed adultery. Pretty sure you violated a commandment there, Marge.
For all the harmful rhetoric she's word-vomited over the years to purposefully harm the LGBTQ+ community, we’d say that it’s about time these so-called “Christians” get exposed for who they really are. And if you still feel bad that her private relationship has been ripped to shreds publicly, let’s take a trip down the road of Greene’s unhinged comments about people who don’t follow her clearly flimsy values:
She’s claimed that the Equality Act, which would federally outlaw discrimination against queer people, would destroy America.
She’s said that lessons in school about LGBTQ+ identity are “child abuse”.
She’s claimed that having gender affirming care is mutilation, and should be punishable by jail time.
Girl, if you’re unhappy with your sex life just say so. Instead of coming after the girls and the gays, you can go straight back to 1840 where you belong, with your shitty bleach job and prehistoric values about right and wrong. Those pillars of morality are about as strong as the integrity of the Supreme Court.
Nothing is worse than finally having a woman in power after fighting the gender battle, and having that woman be absolutely evil. In light of her dangerous and misleading comments, however, Twitter did what it does best: blow up a scandal. As she asks for privacy at this time, we can’t help but wonder... should someone who physically chases
down teenagers that were in school shootings and actively discriminate against LGBTQ+ people really deserve respect? We certainly don’t think so.
My advice to all the SU students out there: bully your congressmen. It keeps you young. Food for the soul. Good for the complexion. Every time you laugh at a homophobe, an angel gets its wings.
So the moral of the story is that you should treat others how you wanna be treated. Because it might come back and bite you in the ass.
Now I wonder who said that...
